The candidates of NEET PG from Jammu Kashmir have expressed anguish over the proposal of pooling 50% PG seats in the region in All India Quota. In a press release issued to The Kashmiriyat, the students said, Whereas it has been recommended that J&K would participate in the All India Quota for PG seats for 50% of its total seat capacity from 2022.Whereas the UT of J&K currently has a very small pool of PG seats comprising of a few hundred seats unlike those UTs/States of India which participate in All India Quota and have thousands of medical PG seats. They said a massive search operation has been launched to trace any weapon or explosive that it might have dropped. “A blinking light suspected to be from a drone was observed in Arnia area (along the International Border) about 04:15 hours today,” a BSF spokesperson said. The JK administration has decided to name the high school in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district after the female teacher from Samba who was shot dead at the institution last month. In a tweet on Wednesday evening, LG Manoj Sinha said that government high school, Gopalpora in Kulgam will be named after the slain teacher Rajni Bala. A 73-year-old person was killed after hit by an unidentified biker outside his home in Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Wednesday. A non-local labourer died of cardiac arrest on Wednesday morning at Pakherpora area of central Kashmir's Budgam district. A police official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a non local labourer felt unconscious at his rented room in Mohandpora Pakherpora and was brought to CHC Pakherpora by his other associates, where the doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
