Killing of labourer in Budgam: Police arrest brick kiln owner for non-compliance of government orders in Central Kashmir’s Budgam

Police in Central Kashmir’s Budgam have arrested a brick kiln owner for negligence and non-compliance of government orders thereby endangering life and safety of non-local labourers. The brick kiln is located in Magreypora area of Chadoora where militants a couple of days back had shot at two brick kiln workers among which one Dilkhush Kumar (18) son of Narayan Rishi Dev of Bihar succumbed. Another worker Goria of Gurdaspur Punjab had sustained injuries in the attack. Infant found dumped near riverside in Anantnag area

An infant was found dumped near a riverside in the Maingam area of south Kashmir's Qazigund area. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday afternoon, locals spotted the body of an infant lying by a river side near a bridge in Nallah Yathvathur in the Manigam area of south Kashmir's Anantnag district. The locals called the Police who took the body into their custody. The Police took the dead body has been fished out and taken to a nearby hospital for legal medical formalities.
