12-year-young boy critically wounded after being hit by two-wheeler in Anantnag

SOUTH KASHMIR
Suhail Dar On Wednesday afternoon a 12-year-old boy was hit by a two-wheeler in Shangus area of south Kashmir's Anantnag district. The boy has been identified as Surjeel Fayaz Beigh son of Fayaz Ahmed Beigh, a senior journalist who is resident of Shangus and studying in Elite Public School. Family members told The Kashmiriyat that he was getting off the school bus when a too wheeler hit him after which he was rushed to the Shangus hospital. The Doctors at Shangus referred him to GMC Anantnag, where his condition is said to be critical.

Two killed during encounter in Amritsar Punjab, says Police

Two were killed during an encounter between Punjab Police and two gangsters suspected to have played a role in the killing of singer Sidhu Moosewala near Punjab's Amritsar on Wednesday. According to ANI, two gangsters named Jagroop Singh Roopa and Manpreet Singh alias Mannu Kusa, both key suspects in singer Sidhu Moosewala's murder, have been killed in a shootout with the police near Amritsar today. Three Punjab policemen and a journalist have also been injured in the shootout. Government’s claims of providing jobs to 30,000 youth false: Mehbooba Mufti

Supreme court orders the immediate release of Mohammed Zubair

The Supreme Court on Wednesday ordered the release of fact-checker Mohammed Zubair, co-founder of AltNews, on interim bail in all UP Police FIRs, Live Law reported. Government makes it mandatory for Madrassas to hoist Indian tricolour in Karnataka

The Karnataka government has made it mandatory for the madrasas to hoist the national flag on the occasion of the celebration of 75 years of Independence for six days from August 11 to August 17. Meer Irfan The family of a 16-year-young boy who has been missing for the last six days from his home in Kulgam has appealed to him to return home.
