At least six persons were injured in a road accident that took place in Haknar Gund area of Ganderbal district on Saturday, officials said here. Police books Doda Man under PSA for 'bovine smuggling'; 51 persons arrested in bovine-related cases this year. An alleged bovine smuggler was booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA) in Doda district of Jammu Kashmir, police said on Saturday. Mohammed Amin, a resident of Manjmi-Dessa in Bhagwah tehsil was detained under the PSA for his involvement in a number of bovine "smuggling" cases, a police spokesman said So far seven FIRs have been registered against Amin at Doda police station for the same, he said. The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday terminated an assistant executive engineer (Civil) of Jal Shakti Department from her services for remaining unauthorizedly absent from duties. According to an order, a copy of which with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), government has ordered removal of Nuzhat Shanoo D/o M.S. Salmani of Rawalpora, Srinagar from her services for remaining unauthorisedly absent from duties. The Jammu Kashmir administration Saturday appointed nodal officers in all districts of the region for the "successful" implementation of "Har Ghar Tiranga".
