Body of Mehjoor Nagar youth recovered from Jhelum in Srinagar

The body of 25-year-old youth was recovered from river Jhelum in Palpora area of Srinagar on Tuesday morning, reports said here. Reports reaching to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that the body of Arif Maqsood (25) of Mehjoor Nagar was spotted by locals in river Jhelum at Palpora. A surrendered terrorist was detained under Public Safety Act (PSA) for his alleged involvement in “anti-national and anti-social” activities in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir, and lodged in Kot Bhalwal Jail in Jammu, officials said on Monday.
