Burglars on Monday decamped with several water taps from Haj house in Bemina area of Srinagar, officials said here. Mawer residents aghast over non-availability of drinking water

Residents of various villages of Mawer Handwara on Monday complained that they are without drinking since last couple of days and the concern department is watching as mute spectator. According to KNS Correspondent the residents of, Audoora,Tali Mallah,Peer Mallah, War Mallah, Dar Mallah And Hajam Mallah,, are without drinking water since last 10 days. The residents said that they are being forced to fetch the water from nearby streams which poses them the threat of water borne diseases. They have they have informed the employees of " Jal Shakti Department " but nothing has been done to restore the water supply to the area. Non-local labourer found hanging in rented room in Srinagar

A non-local painter was found hanging in his rented room in Kashmir capital Srinagar. Official sources quoted by local news agency Kashmir News trust said that a 25-year-old non-local labourer who was working as a painter was found hanging in his rented room in Galwanpora area of Hyderpora. He was shifted to JVC Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. The victim has been identified as Shahjahan Sheikh son of Tanveer Alam, a native of Bihar. 37-year-old man found dead in Dooru

A 37-year-old man was found dead under mysterious conditions near a bridge in Changoo area of Dooru in South Kashmir's Anantnag district on Monday morning. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that some people saw body of a man identified as Mohammad Saleem Kully son of Gull Mohammad of Changoo lying near Changoo bridge, following which they informed the police.
