Admin cancels recruitment of FAAs, JE Civil, recommends CBI probe

Jammu Kashmir admin on Sunday cancelled the recruitment of FAAs and JE Civil and also recommended for a CBI probe into the selection process. In a Tweet, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), DIPR on its official Twitter handle informed that admin assured all aspirants that culprits won’t be spared. It also said that there won’t be any compromise on merit and a fresh recruitment process will start soon. “JKSSB FAAs & JE Civil recruitment has been cancelled & a CBI probe recommended into selection process. 23-year-young boy goes missing from his home in Bijbehara

Suhail Dar A youth from the Waghama area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir's Anantnag district has been missing for last four days. Family members speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that Fayaz Ahmed Kumar aged 24, Son of Mohammed Ramzan Kumar, a resident of the Waghama area in Anantnag went missing on 25th August and has not returned yet. "He left home for his shop around 11 AM and we contacted him around 1:30 pm in the afternoon but he has not returned yet," a family member said. He said that since then they have been trying to trace Fayaz, but to no avail. All efforts by the family to trace him proved futile even as a missing report has been filed at the concerned police station in this regard.

Bajrang Dal protests against Namaz offering at Bhopal mall

Woman killed, her husband injured in accident on Srinagar-Bandipora highway

A woman was killed, while her husband was critically injured in a road accident near Shadipora on Srinagar-Bandipora highway on Sunday morning. Light to moderate rain forecast today, largely dry weather next week

Exams for class 10, 12 to be conducted in March now

Instead of the November-December session, the government is all set to commence with the annual regular board examinations of 10th-12th standard from March.
