Dansihwar Hameed A youth from south Kulgam district was found  hanging in Ahmedabad Gujarat. Family members of Sameer Ahmad Thoker son of Mohammad Shafi Thoker of Nanibugh Kulgam told The Kashmiriyat that the 22-year-old was pursuing M.Sc in Zoology at Sardar Patel University was found hanging inside his hostel room. Alleging murder, the family members said that Sameer had recently topped the university. "The concerned police station is saying that he committed Suicide, but he had no reasons. On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Anantnag, Gulzar Ahmad Bhat today conducted surprise checks of various offices in Sub division Mattan. During these inspections, 10 people were found absent from duty and were placed on suspension by order of Deputy Commissioner Anantnag. 13-year-young boy found hanging in Kulgam

A 13-year-old boy was found hanging inside his home in the Ashmuji area of Kulgam in south Kashmir. An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Saturday, a boy name (withheld) from Ashmuji was found hanging at his home in an unconscious condition after which he was rushed to the District Hospital Kulgam. The boy, however, was declared brought dead upon his arrival at District Hospital in Kulgam. Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation into the matter.
