Link road from Madujan to Adijan Shopian lies in shambles, Locals suffer

The Road from Mandujan to Adijan in south Kashmir's Shopian district is in a dilapidated condition, causing inconvenience to commuters traveling on the stretch. A Local speaking to The Kashmiriyat said, "In absence of repairs, potholes have developed on a large stretch of the road making it difficult to travel on the road." He said that the road has countless potholes, making the purpose of the road a failure. Moreover, things get even worse during the rainy season when potholes are not visible due to the poor drainage system, and the area becomes heavily accident prone. The residents of Mandujan appealed to the District Administration to look into the matter soon.

Sheikh Nadeem Three persons died while as one injured after a mud house collapsed in Daksum area of Kokernag in south Kashmir's Anantnag district. An official confirming the incident to The Kashmiriyat said that three persons died after a mud house collapsed in Daksum Anantnag on Sunday morning. He identified the deceased as Manzoor Ahmad Gorsi son of Mohammad Abdullah, Hajra Begum wife of Mohammad Hussain Gorsi and Manzoor Ahmad son, all residents of Bidhard Kokernag. He added that one person was injured and was been shifted to the hospital for treatment.

After ignoring the directions of the court, Special Mobile Magistrate Passenger Tax Srinagar has issued an arrest warrant against Tehsildar North Srinagar. The court of Special Mobile Magistrate Mr Sunil Kumar as per news agency Kashmir News Trust while issuing the bailable warrant against the Tehsildar North Qaisar Mehmood has directed the concerned police to arrest and produce him in the court on 30 September. Protests hit Dudran area of Boniyar in north Kashmir as locals demanded action against a man who allegedly raped his 'minor' daughter.
