An official told The Kashmiriyat that the Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Yedipora area of Pattan in north Kashmir following input about Militant movement in the area. Two pre dawn encounters have broken out the Kashmir valley on Friday morning between Militants and Government forces.. Official sources told The Kashmiriyat that two encounter broke out between the intervening night in Yedpora Pattan in Baramulla and Shopian's Chitragam. The government has ordered internet companies to block 67 pornographic websites following court orders and for violating the new IT rules that were issued in 2021. Police in Srinagar arrested a militant of the Ansar-ul-Gazwatul Hind (AGuH) outfit along with arms and ammunition in Palpora area of the district. The Supreme Court Thursday ruled the rights available to married women under the Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act,1971, to abort a foetus will also be available to unmarried ones, Indian Express reported. A bench presided by Justice D Y Chandrachud held while the 1971 Act was concerned with married women, the statement of objects and reasons to the 2021 amendment does not differentiate between married and unmarried and therefore, “all women entitled to safe and legal abortion”.
