On Sunday morning, several Russian cities of Belgorod and Donetsk republic were allegedly attacked by Ukrainian missiles, supplied to them by the United States of America. The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti hit out at the L-G administration and said that the government wants to give the youth a bottle of alcohol instead of a job. "Opening of liquor stores will not be allowed in Kashmir, voices will be raised against it and this will not be allowed to happen in Kashmir," Mufti said. Mehbooba Mufti said that the administration was deliberately troubling youth as it has failed to provide employment to them. Amid the ongoing attacks on the Muslim community, a Muslim identified as 50-year-old Dawood Ali Tyagi was attacked by a mob in Vinaipur in Uttar Pradesh’s Baghpat district on September 02, The Wire reported. According to the report, Around 20 men reportedly charged at Tyagi with sticks and sharp objects late at night, inflicting fatal injuries upon him. Four arrests have been made in the case so far and investigation is ongoing. PDD daily wager dies of electrocution in Shopian

Meer Irfan  A Power Development Department (PDD) employee died of electrocution in Shopian's main town of South Kashmir. An official told The Kashmiriyat that on PDD daily wagers identified as Sajad Ahmad Turray, who was a resident of Shopian received a high voltage jolt while repairing an electric wire in his native village. Sajad was rushed to a nearby hospital from where the doctors referred him to DH Shopian, however, he succumbed on the way to the hospital.

An official told The Kashmiriyat that a fire broke out at Ahad Cotton industries causing major damage to the factory located in the Industrial area in the Lassipora area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district. After the fire broke out, locals as well as fire and emergency services personnel reached the spot and tried to bring the fire under control.
