Sheikh Nadeem An encounter has broken out between militants and government forces in the Tangpawa area Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. A temple priest was caught by locals and handed over to the Police after being caught moving around suspiciously in Koyilandy in Kerala. According to a news report, Jishnu Namboothiri (28) was caught by auto drivers at Koyilandy junction on October 7, police said on Sunday. ”They found him wandering in a burqa and handed him over to the police. At least two apple storage sheds were reduced to ashes due to a fire that broke out in Goripora locality Bomai in Sopore area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday. Lumpy Skin Disease (LSD) is rapidly affecting north Kashmir's Kupwara with more than 1500 infected in the district. Also, about 4000 have been vaccinated. Lumpy skin disease is a viral disease that affects cattle.
