In pursuance of the JK admin's order to clear the state land before January 31, officials in Baramulla have issued an ultimatum of three days to the local residents of Uri to vacate the land in three days. In an official notice, of which a copy is available with The Kashmiriyat,  the officials in Uri and Boniyar areas of the north Kashmir's Baramulla district asked the people to vacate the state land within three days or else action would be taken against them. Complying with the orders of the administration, the Tehsildar (revenue official) of Bhaderwah district in Chenab valley has ordered the removal of "encroachments" from state/ Roshni/Kahcharai Land by 31 January 2023. An official notice, of which a copy is available with The Kashmiriyat, a total of 3047 Kanal and 15 Marla is yet to be freed.
