AEEs, AEs of REW Kupwara begin indefinite strike, allege harassment by DC

The Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) and AEs of Rural Engineering Wing (REW), Kupwara here have begun indefinite strike after alleged harassment and humiliation by the concerned Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. Doifode Sagar. The aggrieved AEEs and AEs have written to the Executive Engineer REW and stated that the strike will continue till the matter is resolved. An official told The Kashmiriyat that on  Monday afternoon, locals after spotting a body near Panjpora crossing in Anantnag district's Sangam area called the Police station Sangam to rescue the body. Oxfam India report has made shocking revelations on the growing disparity in economic conditions, and tax collection in India in its latest report stating that 21 Indians have more wealth than 700 million people in the south Asian country.
