At least ten cattle were killed in a bear attack on intervening Friday and Saturday night in Babagail Limber of Boniyar, Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district. Reports said that a black bear attacked a cow shed, belonging to two brothers Baya Kassana and Noora Kassana – sons of Mohammed Ali Kassana. A total of ten livestock animals which included; two cows, five goats, and three sheep were killed in the attack. There have been such incidents happening for last several years now, which have resulted in the loss of at least forty livestock animals, locals said.
