Chief Justice of India (CJI) DY Chandrachud said on Friday said he will take a call on listing the petitions challenging the removal of special status granted to Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, Bar and Bench reported. On Wednesday, two Muslim men identified as Nasir, 25, and Junaid, 35, had been kidnapped from Rajasthan's Bharatpur district, their families alleged in their complaint to the police. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed confidence Thursday that a road project connecting the Amarnath cave shrine will be approved this year as the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation has completed its preliminary project report, PTI reported.
