The Geological Survey of India has found 5.9 million tonnes of Lithium inferred resources (G3) in Salal-Haimana area of the Reasi District of Jammu Kashmir. Lithium is the key component in manufacturing of EV batteries. The government on Thursday said lithium reserves have been found for the first time in the country in Jammu Kashmir, as per a report by Indian Express.
