Ramadan moon was not sighted in Pakistan or India on Wednesday evening which means that the commencement of Ramadan will start on Thursday. Reports said that the Ruw'at e Hilal committee Pakistan declared that the Ramadhan crescent was not sighted anywhere in the country. The Tarawih prayers will be offered on Thursday and the first Sehri eaten on Friday.

The report says that the government requested Twitter to take action against these accounts on Sunday, 19 March, according to the tech company's disclosure to the Lumen Database. Several tweets were also flagged by the government on the same day.
