The Jammu Kashmir Police have arrested a group of youths accused of harassing and attacking a family traveling in a car near Srinagar’s Parimpora road. Earlier, a video had gone viral on social media showing a family being harassed by several stunt bikers who were kicking the car and forcing some people to come out of the car while women in the car could be heard crying and seeking help. The stunt bikers can be later seen chasing the family onboard a car near the Parimpora area of Srinagar. The bikers can be seen kicking the car and opening the window of the car trying to force at least one person on board to get out of the car and asking them to stop shooting the video. Several areas of the Kashmir valley have reported power cuts at the Sehri time during the ongoing month of Ramadhan, triggering anger among the residents. Residents of several areas told The Kashmiriyat that their areas are facing power cuts at the time of Sehri after which they had to resort eating food under candle light. The areas include Pudsoo in Shopian, Boniyar, Awantipora, Pattan, Kupwara town including other areas. Two brothers were booked for allegedly cheating and impersonation during a class 10th examination in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district, officials said on Sunday. As per officials, the incident took place at examination centre 185029 in Government Higher Secondary School Palnaghar in the Thanamandi subdivision. On close examination, officials said, the boy sitting in the examination was found to be different from the actual candidate. Tehsildar Thanamandi, Sayeed Sahil Ali said the boy at the examination centre is reportedly the brother of the actual candidate.
