Iltija Mufti, the daughter of former JK chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti, Friday alleged that the Regional Passport Officer (RPO) Srinagar and Criminal investigation Department (CID) branch of Jammu Kashmir Police has misled the court over the issuance of her passport. A Minor was killed after an iron gate of a house fell at him due to alleged negligence of PDD employees in Khaja Bagh Baramulla area of North Kashmir. As per reports reaching, said that a Minor who was in Courtyard of his house suddenly came under the iron gate which was put off for repair purposes by another house owner. Reports allegedly said that the PDD employees who were installing some meters in the area took the same gate as stairs or support to install the Meters, however after losing the balance the gate felt at the minor. Burglars decamped with an ATM of Jammu Kashmir Bank in the main town area of Pulwama district, officials said on Saturday. They told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that burglars took away the ATM along with cash near Government Degree College Pulwama last night. An elderly man died while 5 others were injured in a road accident in south Kashmir's Pulwama district. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the accident took place in Khamri village of the district, resuting in injuries to at least 6 people. He said that all injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where one of them was declared dead on on arrival. "He has been identified as Ab Gani Shiekh son of Sonaullah Shiekh," the official said. Jammu Kashmir Disaster Management Authority (JKDMA) on Friday issued avalanche warning over higher reaches of Kupwara district in next 24 hours. The DMA, as per GNS, said that a low danger level avalanche is likely to occur above 3000 metres above sea level in Kupwara district. People living in these areas are advised to take precautions and avoid venturing in the avalanche prone areas till further orders. (GNS)

A Jammu Kashmir policeman died on Friday afternoon after his service rifle went off accidentally in north Kashmir's Kupwara district, officials said. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the cop, who was posted at the residence of Bhartiya Janta Party district president Kupwara, Abdul Rehman Lone, died when his service rifle went off accidentally. He said soon after the incident he was taken to a nearby hospital, however, he was declared dead on arrival.
