Several students were injured on Friday afternoon when two groups of students clashed in Srinagar school.
The clash that took place in Government Higher secondary institute Kanipora Srinagar led to injuries to several students, while one of them was hospitalized.

Assam’s Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, restated his commitment to intensify the crackdown on madrasas in the state and announced that an additional 300 madrasas will be shut down, Muslim Mirror reported.
“There was a meeting between the BJP and the people who run these madrasas. There is a consensus that 300 more madrasas will be closed down. This is a result of the discussion between the Assam police and the Qaumi organizations,” the Assam chief minister said.
In March, Biswa declared the closure of 600 madrasas in the state.

In a suspected leopard attack over a dozen sheep have been killed and a half-dozen injured in a far-off village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district, officials said.
The incident occurred in the Wantrag Ranbirpora hamlet of the district.
Officials said that 15 sheep belonging to four persons died in the attack while 6 are injured.
They said joint teams have been formed and traps placed to capture the big cat.
One of the locals from the hamlet told the news agency Kashmir News Trust over the phone that one lamb is also believed to have been taken away by the animal.
He said that sheep were taken care of by a shepherd and those belonged to Sakib Ahmed, Abdul Rashid Khan, Muhammad Ayoub Khan, and Showkat Ahmed Khan.

A woman was found dead in a Nallah in the Kokernag area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Friday.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir Scroll that one female body was found in Nallah Brengi in the Dehruna area of Anantnag district.
It was later identified as Saba Begum wife of Mohammad Akbar Sheikh resident of Dehruna Anantnag, he said.
It wasn't immediately known whether it was a case of drowning or something, he said.
