Infiltrator intercepted, detained on LoC in Rajouri

An infiltrator has been detained on Line of Control in Rajouri district after he was trying to intrude into this side. Officials told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that troops on Line of Control nabbed the intruder while he was trying to infiltrate from Tarkundi area in Rajouri district. The apprehended intruder, initially identified as Mohammad Usman is a resident of Kotli district, Kerela village of Pakistan. Officials said that the alert troops picked up the suspicious movement of the man on Line of Control, thwarted his attempt to infiltrate and detained him. A final year student from chenab valley was assaulted by goons at the Government Medical College of Jammu on Sunday night. A two year old boy died in a road accident in Janbazpora Area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla District on Sunday afternoon. An official said that a two year old boy was hit by vehicle bearing registration number JK05AJ- 6410 that was driven by his uncle in Janbazpora Baramulla. Kupwara resident electrocuted to death in Srinagar

A Kupwara resident was electrocuted to death on Sunday near Noora Hospital in Srinagar. An official said that the man identified as Zahoor Ahmad Lone son of Farooq Ahmad Lone of Badnambli village of Kupwara district got electrocuted when he was painting an electric pole near Noora hospital. He was rushed to JVC hospital Bemina for treatment, where he was declared dead on arrival, he said. Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
