Shah Basit Hundreds of books were damaged in a fire incident at an Islamic seminary in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. A girl hailing from the Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama who had suffered burn injuries around a week before due to gas leakage succumbed at SMHS hospital. An official told news agency— Kashmir Scroll that a girl identified as Anisa Javaid (18) daughter of Javaid Ahmad Najar resident of Hariparigam village of Tral had suffered critical burn injuries on 21 May at her residence in a gas leakage blast. Three visually impaired siblings died while their mother and sister were rescued after their house collapsed amid continuous rains in Kishtwar district, officials said on Saturday. They said, Ravinder Kumar (32), Rajesh Kumar (30) and Sajjan Kumar (28) sons of Soram Singh died after their house collapsed in Pullar village of Kishtwar during midnight. While Soram Singh was not at home, his wife and daughter were rescued by rescuers and shifted to hospital, they said.
