Three persons booked under PSA for ‘Anti-National’ activities

The Jammu Kashmir Police has booked three persons under the Public Safety Act for Anti-India activities in the north Kashmir district. An official said that three persons identified as Mohammed  Ashraf Mir son of Assadullah Mir of Wussan Pattan, Mohammed Yaseen Bhat son of Ghulam Mohiuddin of Tapper Pattan and Wasid Ashraf Sofi son of Mohammed Ashraf Sofi of Watergam Wagoora have been booked the Public Safety Act. "The trio was booked after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority," the official said. The booked persons have been lodged in District Jail Udhampur, Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jail Jammu & District Jail Kathua respectively. A major data breach has been reported in India, wherein the personal data of all vaccinated persons in the country have been leaked online. As per news reports, the leaked data includes Aadhaar, voter ID, Passport numbers & mobile numbers of those vaccinated against covid 19. As per the report, the data has been leaked from India's official COVID-19 vaccination tracking app CoWin. An elderly tourist from the Dehrdun area of Uttarakhand on Monday went missing after a hotel was gutted in a fire mishap in the Pahalgam area of south Kashmir's Anantnag district. Over 50,650 men, women and children, displaced in Manipur’s ethnic violence were sheltered in 350 camps, Information and Public Relations and Health Minister S. Ranjan said here on Sunday. The Minister said that district and cluster nodal officers have been deputed to take care and look after the relief centers set up in more than 10 districts in Manipur, which witnessed devastating ethnic violence since May 3 killing 105 people and injuring over 320. The Excise Department Monday sealed a mobile wine shop on Boulevard Road in Dalgate area in Srinagar city. Sources told news agency Kashmir News Trust that a mobile container selling liquor to customers was sealed after the operator failed to produce a registered license. Sources said that an inspection was conducted by the excise department team and it sealed the mobile wine shop. Scores of people mostly tourists were seen buying liquor from the mobile shop when the container was sealed. A labourer died of electric shock while cutting branches of trees in the Beerwah area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday afternoon.
