The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Thursday transferred four officers—two IAS & two IPS officers from Jammu and Kashmir with immediate effect and until further orders.
According to an order, two IAS officers, serving in J&K, Amit Sharma and Sagar D Dattatray, and two IPS officers including Ashish Kumar Mishra and Mohita Sharma have been transferred from J&K.

Srinagar School Vishwa Bharti, which earlier barred students from entering the school wearing Abaya has issued an order allowing students to wear Abaya inside the premises.
In an order, accessed by The Kashmiriyat, the school has said, "That it has been running on the social media that female students have been directed not to wear Abaya (Long Robe) which is totally baseless and misrepresented."

A man was found dead at his residence in the Wandevalgam area of tehsil Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday afternoon one Khurshid Ahmad Mir son of Late Ghulam Nabi Mir was found unconscious at his residence in the Kokernag area, after which he was referred toSub District Hospital Kokernag.
"At the hospital, doctors declared him dead on arrival," they said.
The Jammu Kashmir Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a man who was blackmailing and threatening a woman in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.
In a press release issued to The Kashmiriyat, Police said, Post Delina received written complaint from one person (name withheld) wherein he stated that his daughter (name withheld) is being continuously blackmailed and threatened by unknown caller since long and has caused his daughter severe distress and unknown caller has extorted handsome money from his daughter but when the situation got worsened, she disclosed whole story to her father.

Principal Secretary Jammu Kashmir School Education Department Alok Kumar Thursday said that results of class 10th and 12th examination will be declared by the 2nd week of June.
Talking to reporters here, Alok Kumar, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), they will announce the results in accordance to the timeline they have set.

The Dearness Allowance (DA) of government employees, pensioners and family pensioners who are still drawing pays as well as pension as per the Sixth Pay Commission, was increased by the Finance Department on June 7, 2023.
The allowance has been increased from the existing rate which is 212 percent, to 221 percent of the basic pay, pension and family pension.
The increase in DA will be effective from January 1, 2023.
