Assault on students at DBU: After FIR cancellation, elated Kashmiri students thank local Sikh leaders

Punjab Police has confirmed that the FIR lodged against the students of Desh Bhagat University will be cancelled and an FIR has been registered against the University Officials. Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the Station House Officer of the concerned Police Station Amloh said that the process for the cancellation of FIR registered against 16 students has been initiated. "Yes, they FIR has been cancelled, but the formal procedure takes a couple of days," the officer said. Water level in Jhelum drops to 70-year low

The persisting dry weather across the valley has brought down the water level in Jhelum to 70 -year low in the month of September. As per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the valley has been witnessing dry weather for more than a month, which has complicated the problems of water scarcity and irrigation for the farmers. Bandipora: Army man kills colleague in ‘accidental fire’, arrested

An army man died, while another one was injured after service rifle of one of the army men accidently went off in Bapora area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district. Bandipora police in a post on X, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) informed that the accused army personnel has been detained. PDD employees protest, demand redressal of their issues
