Authorities have suspended the passport of Jammu Kashmir Anjuman-E-Sharia Shian president Aga Syed Hassan Mosvi citing "security threat" as reason. The Regional Passport Office Srinagar had intimated Aga Hassan that his passport has been suspended under section 10(3XC) of the Passports Act 1967. Aga Hassan told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that he received the notice after over a month when it was issued that his passport has been suspended. He said that he had applied for a fresh passport in view of scheduled to visit to some foreign country, however, today he got to know through the notice that his passport has been suspended. KNS

Danishwar Hameed The residents of Waltangoo and adjoining villages of Kund area in south Kashmiri's Kulgam district on Saturday complained about inadequate healthcare and lack of basic diagnostic facilities at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Waltangoo Kund. The residents said that the health centre was inadequately staffed due to which patient care had been badly hit. They blamed the concerned authorities for their 'insensitive attitude' and alleged that the health center lacks the basic infrastructure required for its smooth functioning. The farmers in several areas of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district have complained of heavy loss due to the rice blast disease. The distressed farmers told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that they are worried due to the disease as around 50 percent of their crop gets damaged every year. They lamented that no steps have been taken by the concerned authorities to reduce the damage.
