A Palestinian journalist was killed today in an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip, Palestine's WAFA news agency reported. According to WAFA, Mohammad Salhi was killed by an Israeli army bullet while covering the events at the border east of al-Bureij, in the central Gaza Strip. Earlier, Palestine's Hamas militant group launched a surprise rocket attack on Israel killing at least 100 Israelis. A few hours after Israel launched a counterattack on Palestine, over 200 Palestinians were killed. Meanwhile, international organisations have urged both countries to stop the escalation immediately.

An official told Srinagar-based news agency Kashmir Scroll (KS) that in one incident, a person identified as Mangta, son of Chirag Din (57), of Vill Rajpura Kollar Samba, was declared dead by doctors at GMC Jammu. The officer said that the deceased was critically injured in a road mishap. Three persons lost their lives and five others were injured in a road accident in Doda district of Jammu region on Friday late evening, an official said Saturday. An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that when a vehicle bearing registration number (JK06A-8682), en route from Khellani to Sarhoa Humble, reached the vicinity of Sarhoa Humble, it rolled down a steep slope, tumbling approximately 300 feet from the road.
