The Jammu Kashmir Police has issued an press release regrading the Curative Survey scam that is in news for duping hundreds of Kashmiris. In a press release, Cyber Police Kashmir said they eeceived an information that a company, operating under the name "Curative Survey Private Limited" and through a fraudulent website, has allegedly scammed and cheated individuals. The victims, were deceived by the fraudulent company, enticing them to invest their hard-earned money with false promises of substantial returns. During the preliminary investigation it revealed that the said company exhorted common public to register on its website and become a partner in surveys it was undertaking. The high court decision comes in response to a petition filed by 116 doctors and medical staff seeking permission to continue their services at temporary coronavirus hospitals even after their closure. Justice MA Chowdhary, presiding over the high court bench, emphasized that contractual employment does not confer a vested right to continue, and it is not within the purview of the courts to compel an employer to extend the contract or alter the contractual employment status once it has been mutually agreed upon by both parties.

Severe cold wave conditions continued unabated in Jammu Kashmir as Srinagar recorded a low of minus 4.4 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
