Mysterious blast creates panic in Poonch, probe launched

A low intensity explosion in the heart of bordering Poonch sparked panic among locals and security agencies late last night. An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that the blast occurred near a religious place, following which police and security forces reached to the spot. "Preliminary investigation suggested that the blast was apparently caused by hurling of a grenade by suspected terrorists," he said, adding that the area has been cordoned off. SSP Poonch Yougal Manhas told KNO that investigation has been started and details will be shared later. JCB, Auto-Rickshaw drivers lose lives in two separate mishaps

A JCB driver and an auto-rickshaw driver lost lives in two separate accidents in Srinagar, Jammu Kashmir. As per details, a JCB driver was killed after coming under a rubble of landslide in Khanmoh area of Srinagar district on Monday late night. The body was recovered after a rescue operation was started immediately after the incident. He was identified as Mushtaq Ahmad. Similarly, in another incident, an auto rickshaw driver lost his life after being hit by a vehicle in the Sonawar area of Srinagar district.
