The district administration Srinagar Sunday issued advisory in wake of the inclement weather conditions, asking the people to refrain from venturing in and around the water bodies. The Irrigation and Flood Control (I&FC) department on Sunday said there is currently no immediate threat of flooding in the valley, despite heavy rainfall predictions for isolated areas of Jammu and Kashmir, particularly on April 28 and 29. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Iqra daughter of Riyaz Ahmed, a resident of Chek e Wazoo aged 15 left her home on Saturday afternoon after which she did not return. Locals told The Kashmiriyat on Saturday afternoon a 13-year-old girl identified as Maliha Mudasir daughter of Mudasir Ahmed, a resident of Rajbagh Srinagar has gone missing from Srinagar. They said that Maliha was last seen at Kabi bridge on Friday afternoon towards Sonwar area of Srinagar.
