Suhail Dar A 39-year-old died of heart attack at his residence in Kulgam district of south Kashmir. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Aroot Madani son of Sartaj Madani, a resident of Akhran Nowpora in south Kashmir's Kulgam was found unconscious in his room on Sunday morning. "When the family members went to wake him up, Aroot didn't respond after which his family broke into the room and rushed him to the hospital after finding him unconscious," a family member said. Upon reaching the hospital, the 39-year-old was declared dead. Aroot is the son of senior People's Democratic Party leader Sartaj Madani.

Two minor girls were reportedly raped by two men in a forest area in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, police confirmed on Saturday. The police have identified the suspects as Dalip Kumar and Ravinder Kumar, both residents of Panchound. The victims, aged 16 and 17, were returning home from a school picnic when they were allegedly assaulted by the suspects on Friday evening. According to a police spokesperson, the girls were found unconscious in the forest the following morning. The Jammu Kashmir (J&K) administration has terminated four government employees for to their alleged involvement in anti-national activities. The terminated individuals include two police constables, a teacher, and an employee from the Jal Sakti department. In a similar move last year, the J&K admin had dismissed dozens of employees for their alleged ties to militant activities. Those dismissed include policemen, teachers, doctors.
