Hospital officials told The Kashmiriyat that on Thursday afternoon, a man (name withheld) was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state. Srinagar has experienced an unusually high maximum temperature today, reaching 35.6°C, which is 6.0°C above the normal for this time of year. This temperature is the highest recorded in the city during July since 1999, when the mercury soared to 37.0°C on July 9. As per news agency Kashmir Scroll this recent high places today as the 11th highest maximum temperature ever recorded in Srinagar in the month of July. The all-time highest maximum temperature for the city remains 38.3°C, recorded on July 10, 1946.
