Speaking to The Kashmiriyat hundreds of people of Hajam Mohalla Khargund of tehsil Devsar in Kulgam expressed their anguish over the use of Sub-standard material used by contractors while construction of Khargund Main to Hajam Mohalla Road which is being constructed under MGNREGA by block Devsar of Rural Development Department. The people alleged that they were rebuked by the concerned contractor when asked about the use of such material. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced the complete removal of customs duties on three cancer medications. The Centre proposed reducing the customs duty on Trastuzumab Deruxtecan, Osimertinib, and Durvalumab from 10 percent to zero, interestingly all the three drugs are manufactured by the same company. All three cancer related drugs are produced by UK pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, which also developed a COVID-19 vaccine.
