Apni Party suffers another blow after ex MLA quits party
Apni Party has suffered another major blow after Noor Mohammad Sheikh, a former Member of the Legislative Assembly for Batamaloo and District President of Srinagar for the Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party resigned from the party.
Sheikh has confirmed his resignation from Apni party led by Altaf Bukhari.
Previously affiliated with the People's Democratic Party (PDP) before joining the Apni Party, Sheikh's departure adds to the series of high-profile defections impacting the party.
This resignation follows that of Usman Majid, a senior vice president and founding member of the Apni Party, further destabililzing the party.
