Australia to impose ban on children below 17 from using social media

Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese on Tuesday announced a plan to ban children from using social media. The Prime Minister stated that the government will introduce legislation in 2024 to enforce a minimum age for access to social media and other relevant digital platforms, reports Xinhua news agency. “We know social media is causing social harm, and it is taking kids away from real friends and real experiences,” he said in a statement. Budgam: 3-year-old child allegedly murdered, Police launch probe

A minor old child was allegedly murdered in the Budgam district of central Kashmir. A police official confirmed to The Kashmiriyat, on Tuesday morning, the dead body of a two year child Zeeshan Ahmed son Bilal Ahmed Kalas was found in the lawn of his house in the Kachwari area of Budgam's Khan Sahab area. The official said that Police received an information about the child's dead body at around 2:40 A.M., after which a police party rushed to the spot.
