With the world's eyes fixed on elections in Jammu Kashmir, a huge number of voters has turned to polling booths across Kashmir and Jammu divisions on Wednesday to excercise their franchise. The assembly polls happening after a hiatus of ten years in the region have recorded a brisk voter turnout during the first phase held on September 18. The first phase of the three phased elections was conducted in 24 assembly segments spread to the Chenab and Kashmir valleys.
