The Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha will address his first public rally in Poonch’s Surankote at 12:00 noon followed by another in Srinagar’s Shalteng at 1:30 p.m. Sources said that the Congress will first arrive in Srinagar on Monday morning in a special chartered flight and then will take a helicopter to fly to Surankote from Srinagar. Danishwar Hameed A residential house and a cowshed were gutted in a late night fire in the Kulgam district of south Kashmir. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday night flames emerged from a residential house in Kawpora of Ashmuji area of Kulgam and quickly spread to the nearby structures. A house and two cowsheds owned by Abdul Aziz Dar were gutted. Fire tenders with the help of locals along with Police brought the fire under control.
