
A Kashmiri youth has been allegedly murdered after being hit with a JCB in Saudi Arabia.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the family of Zakir Nabi Bhat son of Ghulam Nabi Bhat, a resident of YK Pora in Kulgam, said that their son was murdered by his colleague in Saudi Arabia on Monday.
22-year-old Zakir was working in Saudi for the last six months and had constantly informed his parents of harassment by a man from Assam
“Since early the youth informed his family that the Assam youth was harassing him,” his family said.
They said that on Monday, Zakir was at his work when he was hit by a JCB driven by a man from Assam, which led to his death on the spot.
The accused has been arrested by the Saudi government, they told The Kashmiriyat.
