An 18-year-old unidentified girl was killed in a hit-and-run case at the National Highway near the TCP Palhallan area of Pattan in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday Afternoon.
Official Sources Told Kashmir News Service (KNS) That a speedy vehicle hits a pedestrian girl on the National Highway near the Palhallan area of Pattan.
The girl has been identified as Insha Jan resident of Nillah Pattan.
They said that instead of shifting the injured girl to the hospital, the driver fled from the scene.
Subsequently, Soon after the incident locals rushed to the spot & took the injured to nearby Trauma Hospital Pattan where doctors declared her brought dead.
As per officials, the deceased couldn’t be identified at the moment, Meanwhile, local police have registered a case in this regard and an investigation has been initiated to trace the vehicle and involved driver. (KNS)
