25-year-old youth killed in road accident in Kulgam

A 25-year-old youth was killed on the spot in a tragic road accident in Devsar area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday afternoon.

According to eyewitnesses who spoke to The Kashmiriyat, the accident occurred due to a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a Maruti car.

The deceased has been identified as Saqlain, son of Ghulam Mohiuddin Wani, a resident of Malwan village in Kulgam.

Locals rushed to the spot soon after the incident. However, Saqlain succumbed to his injuries on the spot before any medical help could reach.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated further investigation.
