Three Militants and one cop namely Ashiq Hussain has been killed in the ongoing encounter in Sirigufawara area of Islamabad (Anantnag) of South Kashmir, Police officials told The Kashmiriyat.
The identities of the Militants are being ascertained, Officials told The Kashmiriyat
Meanwhile Massive clashes have erupted in the nearby areas of Sirigufwara also as thousands of people have hit the streets and are clashing with the Government Forces.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Government Forces conducting the operation in Sirigufwara have now entered the nearby K Kalan and Mehand villages as some of the trapped Militants may have escaped.
Earlier one civilian identified as Mohammed Yusuf Rather, the owner of the house in which Militants were trapped was killed and his wife injured.
