The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club reported on Wednesday the discovery of 30 martyrs’ bodies, handcuffed and blindfolded, inside a school besieged by the Israeli occupation in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza.
The club stated that the condition in which the bodies were found strongly suggests a field execution carried out by the occupation forces.
The data on Gaza detainees facing executions is on the rise amid the ongoing aggression, with enforced disappearances persisting for 117 days after the initial aggression.
Detainee testimonies upon release have increasingly detailed instances of torture, abuse, and humiliation, affecting women and children as well.
The club emphasized that the occupation’s insistence on enforced disappearance suggests a sinister motive, potentially paving the way for more covert crimes against them.
Occupation forces have previously shared disturbing images of the arrests of numerous civilians in Gaza, depicting them naked and detained in conditions degrading human dignity.
In a concerning development, the Israeli Knesset recently approved regulations extending the deprivation of Gaza detainees’ right to meet with a lawyer for an additional four months.
This decision follows a series of laws and military orders imposed on Gaza detainees since October 7.
