
18 Sewing Machines were Distributed among Trainees

Anantnag Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles conducted a 45 day cutting and tailoring course for the poor students which concluded today at Larnoo, a remote village of Anantnag district. The trainees who participated in the 45 days course were provided free sewing machines and certificates after completion of course.
On the occasion, CO 19 RR Col. Manpreet Singh was invited as the chief guest. Whereas, B.D.C Larnoo, Mumtaz Khatana, along with various Panchs and Sarpanches were also present at the event.
26 girl students participated in the event and 18 girls were provided free Sewing machines.
Later on, company commander, Captain Pankaj, was highly praised for the event by the participants and the locals, where poor women can now earn and work, independently. He also said organising such events makes a bond between the jawans and the awam stronger.
