As many as 49 people have lost their lives in rain-related incidents in Uttar Pradesh since Thursday reports said.
The maximum deaths were reported with Saharanpur at 11 deaths, as heavy rains created eaked havoc in different parts of the North Indian State.
The Chief Minister of the state, Yogi Adityanath has directed senior officials of all districts to alert people and asked them to undertake extensive tours in the affected areas, Government officials said.
They said that Directives have been issued to extend monetary assistance to those who have been severely affected by rains.
