Three pilgrims died and many injured due to landslides during pilgrimage to holy Amarnath cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas.
Two pilgrims also died due to cardiac arrest today, reports said.
Meanwhile the traffic on Srinagar-Leh Highway was disrupted for some time on Tuesday evening due to landslides at various places along highway triggered by heavy rains , reports said.
They said that due to incessant rains that lashed valley on Tuesday evening , landslide occurred at Sumbal Bala , Aku Gund and Bajri Nallah along Sgr-Leh highway due to which the road remained blocked for hours .
Hundreds of vehicles remained stranded on both sides on the highway.
