On Saturday afternoon, a 50 -year- old man was critically injured in a bear attack in Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir.
Official sources said that Mohd Sediq Kumar of Dar Mohalla, Kangan was attacked by a bear when he was working in this field.
Officials said, “The Locals heard his cried and rushed to spot, and the bear ran away from the spot.
The man was rescued bu the locals and later shifted to Sub – District Hospital – Kangan in critical condition. He was later shifted to SKIMS – Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. Due to the injuries he sustained, he is kept under observation and under going treatment.
