A 52-year-old man was killed after being was hit by a speeding biker in Shangus area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district,
An official told The Kashmiriyat that a pedestrian identified as Gulzar Ahmed Sheikh, who was a resident of was hit by a motorcyclist on Thursday afternoon, causing serious injuries to him.
Gulzar Ahmed was immediately shifted to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
He said the biker managed to flee from the spot as it was a hit and run case.
“An investigation has been taken up in this regard,” the official said.
