298 out of 87684 total votes have been polled in the Shopian assembly segment of Anantnag Lok Sabha while 242 votes have been polled in the Wachi asesembly segment of the district till 9 AM 83,532.
The SOuth Kashmir district is going to polls alongside Pulwama in the final leg of polls for the Anantnag Lok Sabha seat amid tight security arrangements, the polling staff was airlifted to various places in the district.
Meanwhile clashes have erupted between youth and Government Forces in Gadopora area of Shopian, Muran area of Pulwama.
