Six people got injured when a taxi bearing the registration number – JK06 4862 met with an accident near Bathri on Thathri-Kilhotran road of Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district, on Saturday.
The taxi was on its way from Gandoh to Thathri, when it skidded and rolled down into a gorge near Bathri (Kahara). As per information available to The Kashmiriyat, amongst all the injured persons, four are said to be critical, including the driver of the ill-fated vehicle.
The injured persons have been identified as:
1. Muzafer Hussain, 28 years old, s/o Sher Zamane. Resident of (r/o) Dharouth, Gandoh.
2. Talib Hussain (Driver), 32 years old, s/o Mohd Mussa- r/o
Tundla, Gandoh.
3. Hajra Begum, 55 years old, w/o Lt. Ab Rasheed Haji- r/o Putan, Gandoh.
4. Zarina Begum, 30 years old, w/o Shakeel Ahmed- r/o Nagni.
5. Shakeel Ahmed, 35 years old, s/o Mohd Yousaf r/o Nagni.
6. Hashma Begum, 60 years old, w/o Lt. Mohd Akbar r/o Chamoti, Gandoh.
All the injured were shifted to a hospital. The critical were shifted to GMC Dida for further treatment.
